Pantopia's Painted Camel Bazaar Now Open!

This past Friday, Pantopia's Painted Camel Bazaar opened its doors for business! Originally scheduled to open a few weeks before Falcons Fury, The Painted Camel was finished ahead of schedule and opened to the public a month in advance! The BGT Buzz was at the park this Saturday to give you a look inside this new shop.

Before we take a look inside, I'd like to point out a few things about the exterior of The Painted Camel. As with the rest of Pantopia, the Painted Camel received a new paint job featuring bright & vibrant colors that reflect the story of this new land.

Some decorative items such as these rugs have been placed on the outside of the building making the themeing of this area world class!

As we move inside and take a look at all of the new merchandise, be sure to pay close attention to some items & props that may have been used from other shops & events throughout the park. This is a great place for enthusiasts to test their knowledge about the park!

The range of merchandise at The Painted Camel is truly stunning. They carry everything from your standard theme park knick knacks to some very expensive handcrafted jewelry. The shop also features various pieces for the home such as decorative pillows, wind chimes, and a set of the keys that once unlocked the gates to Pantopia! The pictures below feature a small portion of the merchandise that can be found at The Painted Camel.

Wow, I'm really impressed with this new gift shop! I think the close attention paid to details makes this one of the best gift shops throughout the entire park. If you're interested in visiting The Painted Camel Bazaar, be sure to stop by on your next visit to the park. It's truly worth a visit!

Leprechaun Makes A Splash At Adventure Island!

Today a very special guest visited Busch Gardens' water park, Adventure Island. All the way from the land of the Blarney Stone, a Leprechaun made a splash right into Adventure Island!

The Leprechaun enjoyed some of Adventure Islands' best rides such as the Calypso Coaster and the Aruba Tuba. At the end of the day, the Leprechaun searched for his lucky pot of gold in the Paradise Lagoon.

If you want to have a great time at Adventure Island just like the Leprechaun, visit Adventure Islands' website and purchase your tickets today. Guests can get the best deal of the season with a FREE Adventure Island Fun Card with the purchase of a Busch Gardens Tampa Fun Card. Adventure Island is scheduled to close for the 2014 season on October 12th.

The Elephant Insider Tour Returns

After a bit of a hiatus, Busch Gardens' wildly popular Elephant Insider Tour will be making it's return very soon! The daily tours are scheduled to start up again somewhere around March 15th. The 45 minute long walking tour will give visitors to Busch Gardens an up close look at how the Elephant keepers take care of these gentle giants. The tour will also elaborate on the various enrichment activities that the keepers use when interacting with the playful pachyderms. And finally, the tour will touch on the preparation of food and nutritional elements for the Elephants.

On a side note: I will personally be taking this tour on March 22nd, and will be posting a review shortly after. If you're interested in taking this great tour, visit the park's website, or the Adventure Outpost located inside of the park and book your tour as soon as possible!

Refresh Market Now Open!

The former in park guest relations booth has now been transformed into Busch Gardens' newest beverage outpost, The Refresh Market!

Conveniently Located Next To The Stanleyville Train Station!

The shop offers a wide variety Minute Maid and Gold Peak beverage products. Alongside the beverages, the shop also offers various sweet & salty snacks as well as frozen treats. It's a great place to stop by before boarding the train at nearby station, and taking a scenic cruise across the Serengeti Plain!
A Peek Inside!

I personally have not been to the shop myself, but as an avid ice tea fan, I know I will surely drop in on my next visit! Look for my review of the Refresh Market as well as my thoughts on the shop in a blog post coming very soon.
