"Dead Fall" House Begins Construction
After an extensive wait, the brand new Dead Fall house has started to be constructed! Located directly behind the Tanganyika Tidal Wave ride in the Stanleyville area of the park, Dead Fall is the former home to last year's Nevermore house. The extensive delay in Dead Fall's construction is mainly due to the three sets of Facebook polls that would determine certain elements of the house such as the name of the estate, murder weapon of the gardener, and the name of the ghost who haunts the garden. After the poll results were compiled, the house was ready to be constructed. The white logos you can see are the symbol of the "Hemlock Hall" estate, home to the Dead Fall house. As more information becomes available on Dead Fall, we'll keep you updated with the latest.
"Zombie Mortuary" Props Start To Appear
Upon exiting the "Opening Night Critters" show in the Pantopia Theater, we noticed props resembling those from last year's Zombie Mortuary house start to appear near the site of the house. While nothing major, this dose mark the first visible activity on the house since Howl-O-Scream construction began around the park. We still don't know what's going on inside of the house, but the arrival of these props only mean more good things are coming soon!
More Props Added To "The Basement" House
More visible props have been added to the walkway near The Basement house. As we've reported previously, the majority of props for The Basement house are already in place behind the wooden gates in the pictures below. Before the current props were added, we were able to snap a few photos of the props that lie beyond the wooden gates. Those photos can be found by checking out our Second Construction Update Article and by clicking here. The current props include a few oil barrels & signage for the house including "The Basement" & "Momma's Meats" which remain covered until the transformation into Howl-O-Scream each evening.
